Specialist Breast Care Nurses
Our specialist breast care nurses are there for every step of the journey. They help you understand your diagnosis and treatment plans, navigate health services, communicate, and liaise with multidisciplinary care teams, and support you to make informed decisions about your health and wellbeing. Our nurses can provide support to our regional clients via phone, email or video chat.
Counsellors
Our counsellors provide one-one counselling sessions regional clients via phone, email or video chat. They also facilitate monthly support groups therapy workshops online for our regional clients.
Support Groups
Being part of a support group gives our clients an opportunity to share their feelings, while receiving support and friendship from those who have been through or are going through similar experiences, and relax in a confidential, caring, non-judgemental, and non-clinical environment.
We currently offer a range of in-person and online support groups in regional areas:
- Early breast cancer group – Mandurah, Bunbury & Online
- Young Women’s Early Breast Cancer Group – Online
- Metastatic Breast Cancer Group – Mandurah, Bunbury, Online
- Young Women’s Metastatic Breast Cancer Group – Online
Workshops
We run a range of online workshops that assist participants to explore feeling and emotions associated with a breast cancer diagnosis, and equip the participants with the skills to approach stages of their breast cancer journey.
