An important announcement from Zoe

I am letting you all know that after eight years I have made the decision to finish up in my role as CEO to spend more time with my beautiful family.

With the love that I have for this organisation, it has of course been a very hard decision to make, but has been made so much easier as we have appointed a wonderful new CEO in Max Clarke. Max is full of all the heart and values that are core to Breast Cancer Care WA, and I know he will do an amazing job of leading the organisation going forward.

To our donors, supporters, and volunteers I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you. Thank you for holding us up. You keep our doors open day in and day out, so we can be here for every person who needs us. I could not be more grateful for your generosity, and for the opportunity to get to know so many of you over the years.

To our clients, walking beside you is an absolute privilege. It is my greatest wish that you didn’t have to go through breast cancer, but it has been humbling to be able to provide you with the support you need, for as long as you have needed it. Thank you for trusting us and allowing us into your lives. Everything we do at Breast Cancer Care WA is done with you in the forefront of our mind, and it has been an honour to serve you.

Breast Cancer Care WA is built on love, and I look forward to continuing to be a part of the organisation that I love so dearly as a volunteer and Director on our Board.

Warmest regards

Zoe McAlpine
CEO and Executive Director
