Personal stories

As more and more people look to us for support each year, our resources are stretched to the limit.
With no government support, we rely on the generosity of the Western Australian community to continue providing our services at no charge. Donations of all sizes are greatly appreciated and help the many women and families that we support every day. We simply can't do it without the help of generous people like you. Please donate. Thank you.

Lynne's story

Lynne thought she had been through the worst when she lost her 17 year old daughter to brain cancer. Five years later, she started her own journey when she was diagnosed with breast cancer shortly after moving to Perth.

"After losing my daughter to a brain tumor, I was adamant I was having a double mastectomy and reconstruction."
