Stay tuned for when registrations open - participants will be sent a "Purple Bra Pack" including a large purple bra and fundraising information.

It has been a time consuming task however……
We are thrilled to announce Purple Bra Day 2009
has raised $212,255.98!
We were overwhelmed by the generosity of all the participants from right across Western Australia and even some from interstate!
We have no doubt there was a lot of fun had by many on the day and leading up to the day with their fundraising antics and on that note we are very pleased to announce our outstanding fundraising prize winners;
Highest Individual Fundraiser: Jenny Jaksic of Spearwood did a fantastic job raising $1656.45 entirely on her own. She has won a JVC HD Everio Hard Disc Camcorder with 40GB of memory valued at $1399 and kindly donated by The Good Guys in Osborne Park.
Highest Fundraising Workplace: Transfield Worley in Perth again this year did an amazing job raising a huge $5778.70! This has won them an advertising package kindly donated by Mix 94.5 and valued at *$4500 (*conditions apply).
Highest Online Fundraiser: Debbie O’Connor and her team at IGA River Fresh in Margaret River raised $2030.35 online and have won a brand new Apple iPod shuffle with 4GB of storage kindly donated by Kambo’s of Canningvale.
Best All Rounder Award:
With so many fantastic fundraising efforts made it was a tough decision to pick the inaugural winner of the Best All Rounder Perpetual Trophy.
This years winner chosen by staff at BCFWA is the Eastern Goldfields Community Centre in Kalgoorlie. First time Purple Bra Day participants, Melissa and the staff at EGCC raised an outstanding $5066.70! Their fundraising efforts included holding a Purple Lunch at the Boulder Town Hall with a unique purple menu (cranberry lamb shanks and a purple baked potato!). Waiters and staff donned the purple bras to raise money and guests were treated to entertainment, guest speakers and with support from numerous local businesses and the City of Kalgoorlie Boulder an auction and raffles were held to raise extra money. Making the front page of the local paper also went a long way in helping to raise a fantastic sum as well as awareness of BCFWA. Well done team!
Thank you to everyone who was organised and returned their fundraising money on time. Each of you went in a draw to win $100 Myer Forrest Place gift vouchers and congratulations go to the lucky winners;

There has truly been fantastic support from everyone and there are just a few extras that we’d like to make a special mention of for amazing fundraising efforts; Karen Smith at the Department of Education & Training, Sue Chegwidden and staff at Fremantle Hospital, Laura Menhennett, Emma Doig and staff at MacMahon, Fiona Peters and staff at Edith Cowan University and Barry Shackles and staff at BP Refinery.
We would also like to make a special mention of our regional participants, many of whom came on board for the first time this year and others that continue to rally their towns together to create their own wonderful PBD events, including Ronne deMasson in Northhampton, Ruby Kuhl in Gin Gin, Barbara Cruikshank and the ladies at Encore in Albany, Kath Millward in Geraldton, Maria Bernhagen in the South West and Loz Haynes in Jurien Bay, thank you for helping us spread purple bras across the state, raising money in WA that stays in WA!
