Director of the Board

voluntary vacancy

Have you or someone you know been affected by breast cancer? If so, then you’ll know the devastating affect it can have on the entire family.

Do you have a passion for making a difference and possess skills that could benefit a fast growing not for profit?

Breast Cancer Care WA is a unique WA charity that has been providing specialised support services to women and their families for the past 11 years. What started as a purely volunteer organisation by our Founder and Patron Ros Worthington OAM has now grown into a professional service that provides emotional, practical and financial support to hundreds of women each year.

With 36 Australian women being diagnosed with breast cancer each day, we’ve never been busier and our two breast care nurses and counsellors are dedicated to finding solutions for our patients, many of whom are in crisis.

Receiving no government funding, we rely on the generosity of the Western Australian community to help us provide our services as no charge. You may also have heard of two of our signature fundraising events the Long Table Lunch and Purple Bra Day.

Currently we are seeking applications for Directors of the Board.
